Nature-friendly and responsibly built villa

Kolin Kajo Villa is a high-standard villa for 10 people in Koli, just a stone's throw from Koli National Park. The villa is located on a magnificent viewpoint. There you can enjoy stunning views of Lake Pielinen and the surrounding nature, and access natural tranquility directly from the villa.

Kolin Kajo Villa is built from Finnish wood, which is a renewable, durable, and long-lasting building material. Environmental values and ecological principles have been considered in its construction: the property has geothermal heating, a heat-retaining fireplace-baking oven, and ventilation with heat recovery. ​

Kolin Kajo Villa's amenities on two levels

The stylish villa's facilities are on two levels. On the main living floor of the villa, there is a comfortable and spacious living room with large panoramic windows, a cozy corner sofa, a beautiful fireplace-baking oven, and a traditional dining set. The kitchen is modernly equipped. On this floor, you will also find a separate WC and three charming bedrooms; additionally, there are high-quality mattresses for five people in the loft. The villa's sauna section is located on the lower floor, which has a changing room, a bathroom with two showers, and a beautiful electrically heated sauna with a fine view of Lake Pielinen and its sunsets. Additionally, this floor has another WC and a well-equipped utility room. ​

Terrace, outdoor activities, and relaxation

The large terrace of the villa is accessed from one of the double-bedded bedrooms and from the kitchen, and the spacious cool-down terrace downstairs is accessed via the sauna changing room. Grilling at the villa is excellent with a convenient gas grill or at the villa's own campfire site. A wood-fired outdoor hot tub is available for rent with a weather reservation for an additional fee. ​

The villa offers guests a variety of outdoor and yard games, such as snowshoes, kick and steering sledges, frisbee golf equipment, a dartboard, and mölkky. Use of equipment is included in the cottage rental price.

Rental practices

The villa is available for rent for full weeks during seasons and for five days outside of seasons. The price includes final cleaning and linens. Bringing pets to the rental cottage is prohibited.

Only a person who is 23 years old can make a reservation. Party ban: it is not allowed to organize parties, bachelor/bachelorette parties, or similar events on the property.
