Gentle Steam of Savukka Smoke Sauna at Koli Holiday

This smoke sauna has been offering its gentle steam to bathers for almost 200 years, as it dates back to 1834! The sauna has also been in its current location for over 30 years. So come and experience the traditional smoke sauna steam on the shore of Lake Käränkä. From the sauna, you have the opportunity to dip into the refreshing water for a swim.

Price: €20.00/Pax, children under 13 years old free of charge
Location: The smoke sauna is located on the eastern shore of Lake Käränkä. Parking for cars is at the parking lot at the end of Merilänrannantie, address Merilänrannantie 68, 83960 Koli. From the parking lot, there are signs "Saunapolku" (Sauna Path) down to the shore. The path starts from the south end of the parking lot, i.e., from the village side corner.
Additional information: The sauna accommodates approximately 10-12 people at a time. Please bring your own towel and swimsuit. The sauna has one common changing room for all bathers. The smoke sauna does not have running water; instead, warm water is provided in a pot for washing. Please do not use detergents when swimming in the pond.
