Forest Cottage (summer season)

Escape digital fatigue to a small farmer's yard. You have access to your own fenced traditional area of just under 1 ha, located in the middle of the forest, on a small farmer's plot. Metsäpirtti is located about 700m from Maatilamatkailu Jänisvaara and 10 km from Koli National Park. At Metsäpirtti, you have access to the main building which has a living room and a chamber. In the courtyard are two cabins, a wood-heated sauna, a smoke sauna (heated by the hosts, and its price is 150.00 €/heating session), and a stone cellar. There are sleeping places for four people in the cabins and two people in the living room. Pets are welcome in the small farmer's yard. The living room is equipped with dishes, a radio, a refrigerator, an electric stove, a baking oven, and electric lights. A dry toilet and a hot composter are at the back of the yard. Household water is drawn from the courtyard well in the old-fashioned way. To the beach of Lake Pielinen, 4km away, where a lean-to shelter and a boat or canoe are at your disposal. The beach is located about 4km away. PLEASE NOTE that during the winter season, reservations must be made one week in advance.
