Kotakylä Evening Sauna

The traditional Finnish evening sauna heats up from 4 PM to 7 PM in the midst of pure nature at Juuka Saunamaa. During the sauna, you can take a dip in the clean water of Vaikkojärvi and enjoy a refreshing Kotakylä drink or Villi -vissy. In the kota (traditional hut), you can eat your own snacks or grill your own sausages.

Evening saunas are heated from July to August, Wednesday to Saturday from 4 PM to 7 PM. Select day from the booking calendar.

Price includes:

• Use of the sauna
• Use of shower and changing facilities
• Non-alcoholic sauna drink
• Use of the Auringonlasku kota for self-catering snacks

One sauna is heated for 2-4 Number of persons, two saunas for 5-8 Number of persons, three saunas for 9-12 Number of persons, and four saunas for 12-20 Number of persons.

You will need:

Your own swimwear to move around the area, and your own towels. Weather-appropriate clothing, as the area is primarily an outdoor area.

During the sauna, you can swim, paddleboard, canoe, or row on the lake with the equipment provided by Saunamaa, which can be found on the deck.

Suitable for adults and families with children. Activities mainly take place outdoors, so weather-appropriate clothing and swimwear are required. The area is not barrier-free, and children are always the responsibility of their guardians.

If you need a towel, you can rent a towel and wrap-around towel set for the evening for 10,- / person.

Saunas pre-heated. During the sauna session, the customer adds wood to the stoves as needed. The price includes the use of shower and washing facilities, as well as the use of the Auringonlasku indoor fireplace.
