Experience the atmosphere on the waves of Lake Pielinen for the first time with a concert cruise organized during the festival week, during which Sibelius's melodies will be played on board the Marivan II by Jussi Makkonen and Nazig Azezian. The cruise also features Julia Donner, director of the Ainola Museum.

Lastu lainehilla is part of the Monola Festival Week program. We warmly recommend attending the "From Ainola to Monola" lecture event held before the concert cruise at Koli Community Hall at 3:00 PM. Julia Donner, director of the Ainola Foundation and Sibelius's home museum, visits Monola for the first time and lectures on Sibelius and Ainola at the event. Admission to the event is free.
