Monola Festival Week Concerts

The eighth Monola Festival has established itself as a significant event in the cultural summer of Lieksa, Pielinen and eastern Finland. The festival is built around the music and stories of Jean Sibelius and other Finnish composers, and the unique cultural landscape of Monola – the place where Sibelius spent his honeymoon and from which he drew inspiration for his musical language.
