Small fishing cabin on the lake shore

The fishing cabin is a cozy, simple log cabin right on the shore of clear-water Lake Vaikko. The rent includes fishing permits (3 net units) and a private boat, which you can use to practice fishing or enjoy peaceful lake trips.

Facilities and amenities

The fishing cabin consists of a small log cabin, a sauna and an outhouse. The cabin has a refrigerator, coffee maker, gas grill, hot plates, basic crockery and a television. It's only a few steps to the beach sauna and your own beach. The rent includes fishing permits (3 net units) and a boat for guests' use.

Water, electricity and practical matters

The cabin does not have running water. Washing and sauna water is carried from the lake, and drinking water is brought along or can be fetched from the Kotakylä well. The cabin has electricity, a small kitchenette and basic dishes for cooking.

Please also bring your own linen. We can also rent a linen set for 15€/ person.

When staying at the fishing cabin, you can optionally use the services of the adjacent Kotakylä at a lower price – evening sauna, SUP boards, kayaks and canoes for 35 €/Pax/day (norm. 45 €).

The fishing cabin is available for booking between 1 June and 31 October 2026.
